Mary Hampson has been dancing at All That Jazz since the young age of 7, but started dancing at the age of 4

    

    Mary Hampson, pictured above in the Jazz box,  has been dancing at All That Jazz since the age of 7,
and started dancing at the age of 4. She studies the disciplines of Tap,
Jazz, Hip-hop, Lyrical, Ballet, Pointe and Character Jazz with Miss Debby.
Mary has choreographed Tap, Jazz, and Lyrical for performances at
All That Jazz and has been a teacher for 4 years.  As well as studying Tap,
Jazz, Hip-hop, and Ballet at Steps on Broadway and
Broadway Dance Center,
she studies Hip-hop with All That Jazz teacher Jonathan Lee, and Tap with
Brian Davis.

 

    Mary performs with the All That Jazz competition team and has won
multiple high scores and special judges awards including, a lyrical solo
piece to “Against All Odds”, choreographed by Miss Debby. Mary was
chosen 2 years in a row for National Dance Showcase's performance in
Atlantic City. Along with partner Rashawn Garrett, Mary won High Gold
and Platinum for their lyrical piece "If I Was the One" choreographed by
themselves and Miss Debby.  Mary has also performed in
Mercer County's
Italian-American Festival and at Kat-man-du for the Jerry Lewis Telethon.
At the age of 15, she was the youngest ever to be accepted on the
Steinert
Dance Team.
 

 

Mary attended Mercer County’s Performing Arts School for dance
and is now a student at Mercer County College.  She enjoys
working with her students and would like to add:
 All That Jazz is the place to be!
